Abstract
Remote Laboratories can provide significant advantages for universities and students alike. The flexibility provided allows teaching staff to incorporate additional practical components in their courses. It also allows students to spend extra time conducting additional experiments that reinforce concepts and provide further understanding of the subject. In addition it provides cost effective laboratories that better utilise resources. This paper presents a recently developed remote coupled tank laboratory that allows students to perform real life experiments over the Internet.
