Abstract
This article presents an empirical analysis of China\´s apparel industry and re-examine the evaluation of industrial international competitiveness in terms of enterprise nature and unit value. Making comparisons among contributions of enterprises from different nature and apparel unit values from top five countries (redions) in global export, this article comes to the conclution: Given in-depth investgation of the enterprise nature and unit value, the conventional analysis using "nationality" as a indicator is not rigorous. The great advantages in production links enjoyed by China\´s apparel industry owe in large part to "foreign enterprises of three kinds". Even in the territory of China, the unit value of apparel exported from foreign-invested enterprises is higher than that of China\´s domestic apparel enterprises. China\´s apperal industry is really uncompetitive.
