Abstract :
Pure rotational transitions of carbon monoxide in the excited vibrational states /spl upsi/=1 and /spl upsi/=2 of the ground electronic state have been measured in the 0.3 to 4.0 THz spectral region. Accurate center frequencies of 50 transitions with J values up to J=33 as well as improved sets of rotational constants are reported.<>
