The Mechanism of Rural Business Logistics Operation in Mainland China: A Research Based on "Home Appliances Going to Countryside"

The policy of “home appliance going to countryside” has been brought into effect at the beginning of 2008 in mainland China. How can the policy make people in country really satisfied with the service and really benefit from it? The key is to ensure the quality of home appliances service. As one kind of special services, logistics plays an important role in improving the competitiveness of the manufacturers and the standard of services. This article gives a research to the mechanism of Rural Business Logistics operation with the background of “home appliances going to countryside”. From users´ needs, transportation, delivery, reverse logistic and channel organization these 5 aspects, an intensive study of the rural business logistics operation are carried out and some useful methods to improve the rural business logistics are given.
