Title :
Circuit Models and Implementations of Electronically Tunable Reflectarray Elements
Author_Institution :
Toronto Univ., Toronto
Abstract :
This paper presents a modeling technique based on an equivalent circuit for predicting the scattering response of electronically tunable reflectarray elements. The model is used to analyze ETR elements tuned using variable capacitances. Several tuning topologies are described and evaluated, including a tunable polarization-twist element.
