Abstract :
Telerobotics has recently become one of the major research and development area for robotics engineers. Applications of telerobots in the areas such as space telemanipulations and submarine exploration have been very popular. Addition of the telerobotics to the Virtual Reality systems has formed a new field called Virtual Reality for Robotics Environments. In this paper, we introduce telerobotics system for educational environments. The required software and hardware are discussed. Then, a system which has been implemented in Tehran University called TELEATLAS is presented
