  • Abstract
    Expression and definition of spatial relationship are crucial for spatial data mining. A new method of spatial relationship expression based on DE-9IM theory is proposed. The accurate spatial topology relationship between different objects can be expressed when this method is used in multi-level association rules discovery. The corresponding algorithm is also implemented and efficiency is enhanced by the MBR test and meta-rule. Experimental results show that the algorithm is valid and efficient.
