Abstract :
This paper presents an approximation method of a signal with a frequency modulation signal. Using the proposed approximation method, an observed signal from a rotary machine through a vibration pick up sensor is approximated and each parameter of the modulated signal is calculated. When a rotator in a rotary machine becomes unbalanced more and more, the calculated parameters are changed gradually. The authors proposed that the variation of each parameter is approximated with a certain equation. Using this equation, the breakdown point of a rotary machine can be estimated.
