Abstract :
One method of determining the immunity to electromagnetic radiation of an electronic system is to subject it to a transverse electromagnetic (TEM) wave which is propagated between two parallel conductive plates. Techniques are described here which have been used to increase the maximum attainable field strength within such a parallel plateline, while using the same amplifier output power, and to reduce the effect of resonances which occurred in the screened room which enclosed the plateline
