Abstract :
The performance of a CLL type resonant AC/DC converter has been presented in this paper. It has been shown that, within the desired load range, the converter operates in the lagging power factor mode. A new control scheme to control the output DC voltage and to shape the input AC current is developed. The controller is practically implemented and a major improvement in the input current waveform has been noted.
