Abstract
The power output fluctuation problem due to instable wind speed is the major issue on wind generation system. To alleviate this problem, installing battery into the system could be beneficial if its appropriating size is attentively determined. This article aims to assign an optimal battery size by using a simple and flexible battery model i.e. the "lead-acid" battery model. From the numerical example, power fluctuation can be reduced significantly after integrating the proposed battery size.
