  • Abstract
As an emerging force in corporate governance, institutional ownership is increasingly becoming a hot topic. As the main component of institutional investors, mutual funds grow quickly. The paper chooses part of our country´s listed companies as the sample to study the relationship between mutual funds´ ownership and firm performance from two aspects of market value and operating performance. The result shows that mutual funds´ stock ownership has a positive effect on firm performance significantly.
