Abstract :
This paper proposes a new approach to save energy in a wireless sensor network (WSN) in which sensors lie on a uniform rectangular grid. At each data-acquisition/sampling instant, only a randomly selected subset of all the sensor nodes acquires and transmits the data. This problem can be solved by semi-definite programming, which is based on fixed point continuation with Bregman iterations.
