Abstract :
Speed Monitoring is an important application of a Radar System. This paper discusses the basic principles of a Radar System and specific principles related to the application of speed tracking and monitoring. Moreover, a conceptual model of a mobile radar based speed monitoring system is designed and simulated using simulink. The percentage error is computed for various speeds and is analyzed. It is found that the error is less than 0.5%.
