Abstract :
State-space averaging and linearization are applied to the control law of current-injected, constant-frequency switching regulators, resulting in a bona fide two-loop system representation. As a theoretical goal, first-order behavior can be achieved with no right-half-plane zeroes. Actual performance may be limited by switching frequency interference considerations.
