Abstract
This paper investigates the influence of IS maturity, top managers´ knowledge of IT, and top managers´ risk perception on organizational IT investment attitude. We collected data of 147 Chinese organizations, including firms and government departments. Results indicate that, top managers´ knowledge of IT and top managers´ risk perception have significantly positive influences on IT investment attitude. But the influence of IS maturity on IT investment attitude is insignificant. These results will be useful for researchers and practitioners to better understand IT investment decision.
