            Abstract : 
This paper presents a novel structure of a disk permanent magnet generator. The generator has two outer rotor disks and one coreless stator in middle. The main characteristic of this structure is to use fewer magnets than previous structures in order to reduce the total cost of construction. Moreover, special shape of this generator reduces the weight and facilitates natural cooling of the stator winding. Following the introduction of the novel machine, a typical generator is designed which shows the advantages of the proposed structure
