Abstract
We present new measures of complexity and their application to event-related potential data, which are based on structures of recurrence plots. Recurrence plots (RP) method is effectively applied to ERP signal to study the dynamics of the complex underlying behavior, in terms of assessing non-stationary transitions over time, and dynamic phase transition observed in the ERP signal, which provide a graphical representation of the recurrent patterns in a time series. The simulation results have shown that the proposed method is effective.
