Abstract :
The author gives guidelines for probabilistic estimation of combined harmonic power and energy losses caused by a number of harmonic sources. The harmonic producing loads and the network impedances are assumed to be known. Methods are proposed for assessing the combined losses taking into account the phase angle and amplitude variation range of the harmonics
