Abstract
A simple transmission system has been developed for a 2.45 GHz wireless IC card automatic passenger gate system with multiple gates. The effectiveness of this passenger gate system has already been demonstrated. The transmission system consists of a simple modulation/demodulation scheme for stable data transmission and a co-channel allocation system for use with multiple gates. The circuits for the system are designed to be as simple as possible to reduce the cost and extend the life of the card. This paper describes the modulation/demodulation method and multiple gate operation, presenting both theoretical aspects and experimental results.<>
