Abstract :
A deadbeat response current controller for a converter fed de motor drive system is proposed. A self-tuning algorithm is developed which adjusts the controller parameters so as to achieve deadbeat response for unknown and/or varying plant parameters. Digital simulation results for a current control loop of a de motor drive system fed from a 3ø bridge converter are presented.
