Abstract :
A multibeam mobile satellite communications system presently under study, called the dynamic channel assigned multibeam satellite system (DCMS system), is described. The compact mobile terminals proposed to realize this system are also described. Evaluations of propagation characteristics and mobile terminals performance and various application experiments are being carried out
