Abstract :
Considering the on-board real-time performance and communication stability requirements for jet engine distributed control system, a novel communication protocol based on the serial port has been proposed in this paper. In our study, the communication data and check information has been designed in a specified packet framework in terms of minimizing communication packet length and maximizing communication data. One notable feature of the proposed communication protocol is that it easy to realized in any communication ports. Finally, the proposed communication protocol has been applied to jet control and simulation platform, and the experimental results show that it can guarantee the real-time performance and communication stability without few communication packet missed.
