Abstract
Several distinct-modulation strategies have been proposed in the past for reducing the neutral point current ripple and providing low total harmonic distortion output voltage. A new simple space vector modulation algorithm is presented in this paper to eliminate the low frequency harmonic content from the dc link capacitors with cost and size benefits. However, each of the algorithm improves the performance on one side while decreasing on the other side. The effectiveness of the algorithm has been verified by simulation on a three level converter and analytical model is presented
