Abstract :
The near-carrier noise of the output (up- or down-converted) signal of a microwave mixer is computed by a novel numerical technique. The analysis extends the conversion-matrix method to deal with a quasi-periodic steady state. The internally generated noise and the noise injected by the LO and RF sources are taken into account.<>
