Abstract :
The influence of the limitation mechanism of the active device on the oscillators phase noise is investigated. Numerical calculations and measured data shows that additional to the output power the limitation mechanism of the steady state should be considered for low noise oscillator design and agree within the accuracy of measurements.<>
