  • Abstract
    In this paper a radiating element to be used in millimeter wave integrated arrays is presented. The radiator is based on an annular slot which is grounded with vias to form a coaxial structure. The radiator presents good performances and it is suited for array applications because it avoids the excitation of surface waves and of parallel plate modes. Two radiating elements operating around 20 GHz and 30 GHz will be presented. It will be also shown how these two elements can be nested in a way to form a dual band radiator with good isolation.
