Abstract :
Enforcing privacy and security by appending filter criteria is a well-known, powerful technique known in SQL-based access. We extend this approach to image access, based on an SQL-style declarative raster query language. We show how some constraints useful in privacy and security enforcement can be expressed, and some can not due to the intrinsic nature of geo imagery. We identify problems and suggest this field as a new research topic.
