Abstract :
Information modeling has significant influence on factors such as performances, quality, costs and the market competition ability of the product. Polychromatic sets (PS) is a new systematic theory and information-processing tool. In this paper the modeling methodology of product information modeling, the reasoning techniques and its formalization are studied systematically under the support of PS theory. By using constrains relation sets, hierarchy-tree-model and its formulization are studied, and hierarchy-tree-model contained the relative constrains is discussed. An example of machining center was provided for application and validation of the above theories and methods.
