Abstract
In the three-dimensional sensor network scenarios, a three-dimensional positioning algorithm, according to the bounding cube algorithm, which is based on the intersection of the ball field for wireless sensor networks, is presented. Also, possible coordinates of the unknown nodes are determined. The principle of this algorithm is studied and realization method of simulation is experimented by MATLAB simulation. The results show that in 10m * 10m * 10m three-dimensional space, the positioning accuracy of the algorithm is improved by 48.93% comparing to the Bounding Cube algorithm, which will only need 40 anchor node to be able to lower the location error to 31.96%.
