Title :
Process management and run control system in HERA-B experiment
Author_Institution :

Abstract :
The HERA-B experiment (1) was designed for the measurement of CP-violation in decays of neutral B-mesons. The challenge of the HERA-B DAQ (2) system is a dead-timeless readout, which requires unprecedented speed of storing and processing the data. The HERA-B Run Control System solves the task of integrating 10 sub-detectors providing the raw data and in total 16 subsystems participating in building and processing events. Configuring, launching, monitoring, re-starting and bringing processes to predefined states are the main task of the Run Control (RC). The main principals as well as the implementation of the RC are presented in the paper.
