Abstract :
The wind/solar hybrid system is an equipment transforming light and wind energy into electrical energy. The wind/solar hybrid can make up for the disadvantages such as low reliability and high cost single by wind or solar power generation, and it can be widely used in communication base stations and other occasions. In this paper, technical and economic analysis on the wind/solar hybrid system are made by HOMER, and try to find out the economic optimum and performance optimum when meeting the needs of the load. After the analysis, it can be found out that, wind speed has a great influence on the system costs.
