Abstract
In order to verify how psychological boundary impacts individual performance, a structural equation model (SEM) is used in the paper. The paper analyzes the relative factors of boundary. Relevant variables are selected to measure the boundary and performance. A full model is set to test and verify the hypothesis by means of SPSS and AMOS. The empirical results show that psychological boundary has positive correlation with individual performance, but not significant. Factors as personality and management institution have positive impacts on individual performance and organizational environment impact performance negatively. The three factors have positive correlation with psychological boundary. Such empirical research provides the management with effective information in view of psychological boundary, which promotes the humanity in the HRM practices.
