Abstract
Due to its potential to drive the next wave of e-commerce, mobile commerce has attracted much attention from both practitioners and researchers. In this paper, we develop a theoretical framework to study the adoption and use of m-commerce from the information processing perspective. Based on the information processing framework, we propose that the fit between the information processing need of m-commerce users and the information processing capacity of mobile applications positively affects the perceived usefulness of users, which in turn influences their intention to adopt and use m-commerce.
