Abstract
In this paper a novel current control method for three-phase four-wire shunt active power filters is proposed. The method combines space vector modulation (SVM) with hysteresis current control (HCC) techniques in the αβ0 coordinate system. Two sets of hysteresis comparators determine how to select appropriate switching vectors. By the set with wider hysteresis band, the location region of the reference voltage vector on αβ plane is detected. Computer simulation results show that compensative performance of the active power filter is improved.
