Abstract :
Now content search and management have become critical problems for large-scale storage system. Since metadata plays crucial role both in storage and content management, integrating various metadata and providing an efficient mechanism can greatly improve content search and simplify management of digital objects. Therefore, a kind of integrated metadata model based on object storage is proposed to implement the full fusion of CAS and content management. A kind of distributed CAS appliance system based on the integrated metadata is established and demonstrated in this paper. As a result, CAS appliance system can provide strong content search and navigation services, and it is more efficiently to store and retrieve data.
