Abstract
In vector controlled induction motor drives, to optimally select the stator or rotor flux reference, in field weakening region, it is necessary to take into consideration also the machine magnetizing curve. The paper proposes a methodology for the identification of the magnetizing curve that can be applied at standstill. The approach consists on applying to the stator windings a suitable mono-phase current waveform and memorizing the stator voltage. A subsequent elaboration of the two waveforms allows the determination of the shape of the magnetizing inductance
