Abstract
Neuroimaging is a topic of an intense and challenging research aimed to understand the insights of the most essential organ in the human body. The diagnosis and treatment of some prevalent brain disease, such as stroke, is still complex and need for new low-health risk, non-invasive and low-cost screening tools able to detect the abnormality. In this paper the potentiality of microwave imaging will be inspected using 3D UWB-MC (Ultrawideband-Magnitude Combined) tomographic algorithm and realistic brain models.
