Abstract :
Pulse ratio modulation is a variable frequency modulation technique that allows to overcome bandwidth limitation of switching devices in case of DC/AC and DC/DC conversion. Aim of this work is to investigate, in case of DC/DC conversion, the advantages of the pulse ratio modulation over conventional pulse width modulation. For this purpose, an experimental comparison is performed taking into account the static and dynamic behaviour of the DC/DC converter and the output ripple voltage
