Abstract :
Control of climatic condition inside a closed area involves complex control strategies and schemes, in this work controlling of two highly interacting process variables temperature, relative humidity for establishing climatic conditions is discussed. An experimental setup of climatic chamber with heating, ventilating, air conditioning units is developed as a 4 × 2multi input multi output system to test the various control strategies. The performance behavior of the system was tested for PID based SISO control strategies implemented using virtual instrumentation.
