Abstract :
Drought is a normal, recurring feature of the climate in most parts of china. In recent years, many researchers have found lots of drought monitoring methods with remote sensing data In this paper, the author firstly analyze advantages and disadvantages of common drought monitoring methods, then study the drought monitoring method meeting HJ satellite condition. At last, the author use HJ data to monitor southwest china drought which happened in the spring of 2010, moreover, analyze the result.
