Abstract :
Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs) has become a hot research topic in the next generation wireless networks. To maximize the network throughput, which route selection strategy should be used has become a key research problem recently. Based on the analysis of the existent WMNs´ route selection strategies, a novel routing metric is proposed in this paper, termed WCETTR which integrates the hop counts, qualities of channel, the inevitable and potential multi- channel interfere among links. It is demonstrated in the simulation that the algorithm will improve the network throughput greatly.
