Abstract
Compares the capabilities of dedicated PABX with those of LAN and integrated PABX/LAN solutions, under the ISDN scenario. The digital PABX will be probably the most suitable solution for private communication needs and LANs are very effective for specific applications like CPU disks traffic, CAD/CAM and factory automation. The strengths and weaknesses of the dedicated data PABX are compared to those of the LAN and integrated data/voice PABX with respect to its suitability in ISDN environment
