Abstract :
Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) systems were used to limit the degradation of signal strength caused by Multipath propagation. Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems are able to maximize spectral efficiency by reducing Inter Symbol Interference (ISI). The combination of MIMO-OFDM enhances the features of a wireless link such as transmission rate, transmission range and the transmission reliability over other widely used wireless access techniques. The performance analysis of Trellis Coded Modulation (TCM) aided Space Time Block Code (STBC) in MIMO-OFDM systems is presented in this paper, which improves the quality of received signal even in high noise environment .
