Abstract :
This paper presents the cognitive modeling of design practice applied to pico- turbine through parameter analysis methodology. For this prior knowledge regarding cognitive modeling in real practice is crucial. In reality as design practice is seldom a nonlinear issue, no question of any creativity and innovativeness in designing practice arise. In the engineering practice a standard cognitive model which establishes a suitable cognizable process of cognitive modeling for design practices is necessary for understanding the design process. Further, this cognitive modeling process is applied to a case study of designing pico-turbine. So, a final systematic design pertaining to cognitive modeling is highlighted.
