Abstract :
A three-dimensional metal-only reflectarray with an open-ended rectangular waveguide (OERW) feed was analyzed to obtain the radiation characteristics of a high-gain antenna. We used the aperture fields and the Franz formula that produced the precise fields on the plane of a reflectarray. Using the design method for a metal-only reflectaray, we designed a high-gain antenna for f = 93.5 [GHz] and reflectarray diameter = 10 [cm]. Our theory predicts that the antenna gain is about 37.5 [dB].
