Abstract :
This research establishes a comprehensive evaluation index system of economic security of land resource by using Delphi and AHP methods. An empirical analysis of Shanghai China is conducted. The conclusions are as follows. (1)The economic security of land resource is on the level of "basic security" in Shanghai from 1999 to 2006. In 2005 and 2006 the compound evaluation values are 62.9 and 68.8 respectively. (2)The favorable factors of the economic security of land resource in Shanghai are that both the grain yield per unit of land area and the proportion of environmental protection investment to GDP have kept on the levels of "absolute security" for several years, and the security level of the production value per planting area increased steadily since 2003. (3) The poor status of quantity security and the sharp fluctuation of land market prices have negative effects on market efficiency and restrain the sustainable socioeconomic development of Shanghai.
