Abstract
The ripple control system is used by utility for diverse functions: tariff variations, street-lighting control, load or head control. Connecting numerous distributed resources to LV and MV networks may cause an important attenuation of these signals. The paper presents an impact study of the DR connection on the ripple control transmission. The influence of the DR size, type and location is investigated for three types of distribution networks.
