Abstract :
In an effort to provide lawful intercept for SIP VoIP, an intercept architecture using session border controller is proposed, and a prototype based on this architecture is implemented. A testbed has been set up and tests have been carried out in order to analyze the performance and the capability of function entities and interfaces. Test results show that SBC intercept capability in SIP signaling is superior to that in RTP media stream. Test results also show that delivery function, collect function and their interfaces have accordant intercept performance and the capability with SBC.
