  • Abstract
The convened session at EuCAP last year of the EuRAAP Working Group on software should be considered a starting-up event. It was the first time that the WG established a really close cooperation with software vendors in a mutual effort. The goal was to discuss the future of computational electromagnetics. This year, the immediate goal is to organize a session with time reserved for discussion between the antenna and propagation software and design research community and the software vendors. The idea is to figure out whether it would be possible to establish a kind of common road map, in mutual consent, for the further development of numerical techniques and software tools. The goal is explicitly that the input for this road map is coming from the antenna and propagation software and designer community, which is the community that should drive the development, since they are the final “customers” of the software.
